Where ideas
meet reality

Marco Pugliese

Biography

I haven’t had many careers. I’ve had one obsession: to understand. Technology, aviation, law enforcement, media, entrepreneurship, education — from the outside, different lives. From the inside, one continuous journey, driven by the same hunger.

In every world I’ve worked in, the hardest problem was never technical. It was human — communication, trust, judgment, timing. My skill, if I have one, is seeing that pattern underneath the surface.

I’m a translator of judgment. I take lessons paid for at real cost, inside high-stakes worlds, and make them transferable — so you can decide well without having to live through the mistake yourself.

I founded Teekonda after five years coordinating WeRoad trips — watching travel built for one life stage get sold to people in a completely different one.

Most of the people I led over five years at WeRoad were well past their twenties — and group travel built for that age rarely fit them. Not because of stamina. Because a vacation means something different once life has already handed you harder problems to solve. Teekonda is the answer I built: small groups, boutique, unhurried — trips designed for people at the stage of life I’m actually living myself, not the one travel marketing usually assumes.

I’m opening up something most people will never otherwise touch: the chance to fly a faithful replica of a WWII P-51 Mustang.

The SW51 is a 70% scale, all-carbon replica of the P-51 Mustang — accurate enough to be the closest most people will ever get to flying a real warbird. I want to open that experience up directly: not a museum piece, an actual flight, in something built to feel exactly like history. It’s the same principle behind The Guide — the edge has to be real to mean anything.

I’m conducting independent research into the ultralight helicopter market — work I intend to bring directly to Italy’s Aero Club (AeCI) once it’s ready.

Choosing the right aircraft for an entire national category isn’t a spec-sheet exercise — it shapes what an entire generation of Italian pilots will fly for the next decade. I’m mapping what’s available now and where the category is actually heading, on my own initiative, with a set of recommendations I plan to submit to AeCI directly.
